Bridge View Cottage in Gunnerside offers fantastic self catering accommodation, nestled in the heart of Swaledale. Based near Richmond in a picturesque area of North Yorkshire, we are the perfect place to escape from the pressures of modern life.

Our charming cottage dates to the early 1800s and has been recently renovated to offer beautiful accommodation. Outside there is a wonderful garden with a table and chairs, offering the perfect sun trap for al fresco dining.

On the first floor, there is a lovely open plan living/kitchen/dining area that will suit all your needs. Unwind in the cosy living that includes comfortable seating, a TV and a toasty wood burner for the chilly months. A window seat offers a great spot for morning coffee whilst savouring the view. Cook up a storm in the fully-equipped kitchen that includes a range of appliances for home cooking. A delightful dining table seats 2, great for a memorable romantic meal.

The ground floor has a gorgeous double bedroom for a restful night’s sleep. A sofa bed is also available in the lounge. The bathroom come with a magnificent roll-top bath to soak yourself in and a shower.

The delightful village of Gunnerside has two brilliant eateries, The Kings Head and Ghyll Foot Tea Rooms and Bistro. The former serves good pub food and the latter serves lunches and teas, plus a hearty Sunday lunch. Only 3 miles away is the pretty village of Muker, home to tea rooms, the Farmers Arms, art gallery, village shop and Swaledale Woollens. Nearby Reeth is also home to shops, cafes, galleries, pubs and a post office.
