How Stean Gorge in Harrogate offers charming self catering accommodation. We are based in a stunning countryside setting, perfect for a magical break in North Yorkshire.

We have a range of properties available, including 2 lodges and 2 chalets. All the properties are surrounded by spectacular Yorkshire countryside, great for an idyllic getaway. Each holiday home is tastefully furnished and comes equipped with a variety of excellent facilities.

Rustic Lodge without Hot Tub:

Our fabulous 10-bed lodge is new for 2022 and perfect for the ultimate country retreat. Inside there are lots of bespoke features and wooden bunk beds. The lodge comes equipped with a toasty log burner for the winter months, a kitchen worktop area, fridge, kettle, sofa and table and chairs. Outside there is a BBQ and personal fire pit, plus a covered veranda for relaxing on whilst savouring the views. The lodge has access to the facilities block, complete with underfloor heating, an indoor washing up area and showers.

Rustic Lodge with Hot Tub:

These wonderful 10-bed lodges are great for outdoor lovers looking for somewhere special to stay. The lodge comes with equipped with a toasty log burner for the winter months, a kitchen work top area, fridge, kettle, sofa and table and chairs. Inside there are lots of bespoke features and wooden bunk beds. Outside there is a BBQ and personal fire pit. Enjoy a glass or two on the veranda whilst enjoying the views. The lodge has access to the facilities block, complete with underfloor heating, an indoor washing-up area and showers.

Manchester Chalet with Hot Tub:

Our gorgeous 6-bed rustic lodge is nestled in the green rolling hills and offers a true haven of relaxation and tranquillity. The lodge comes with a kitchen, with fridge, cutlery, crockery, kettle with tea and coffee, sofa, table and chairs an indoor log burner for those chilly days. We also have a BBQ for al fresco dining. The chalet also has access to the facilities block.

Wooden Chalet with Hot Tub (4 bed):

This delightful lodge is the perfect place to escape from the pressures of modern life, set amidst magnificent rolling hills. Inside there is a kitchen with fridge, cutlery, crockery, kettle with tea and coffee, sofa, table and chairs and a toasty log burner. Beds consist of double bed bunk bed. Outside there is a veranda, great for a coffee in the morning sun. The chalet also has access to the facilities block.

We also offer accommodation in our bunk barn and provide facilities for campers, please enquire for details.

Our amazing position means we can offer an array of brilliant activities, including abseiling, caving, canoeing and gorge walking. We also have two lovely cafes and a fantastic bistro.
