Alum House Littlebeck in Littlebeck offers glamping accommodation, perfect for an idyllic getaway. Our domes near Whitby in North Yorkshire are situated in a private woodland location and in the ideal location for exploring the area.

We have 3 glamping domes available, all finished to a luxurious standard to suit all your needs. The domes each boast a private shower room, toasty log burner for the winter months and a BBQ for al fresco dining. You can soak away your troubles in the wood-fired hot tub whilst enjoying a glass or two.

Roe Deer

Roe Deer is a charming retreat set in its own field near a peaceful stream, accessed via stairs leading down to the spacious 6-metre tent. Accommodating two adults in a king-size bed (made up and ready), it also offers camp beds for children, though you will need to bring their own sleeping bags and pillows. The wooden cooking area features two cooking points, a food preparation space and all necessary utensils and crockery, along with an electric fridge for convenience. Outside, a BBQ area doubles as a campfire spot perfect for toasting marshmallows, with a picnic bench and occasional chairs provided for relaxation. Jenny Wren

Jenny Wren is a cosy 5-metre tent situated near a gentle stream, perfect for children to play in and shaded by a beautiful oak tree complete with a swing. It sleeps two adults in a ready-made king-size bed, with camp beds available for children (you will need to bring their own sleeping bags and pillows). The wooden cooking area features two cooking points, a food preparation space and comes fully equipped with utensils, crockery and an electric fridge. Outside, a BBQ area doubles as a campfire for marshmallow toasting, complemented by a wood fired hot tub, picnic bench and occasional chairs for outdoor relaxation. A private shower room is conveniently located nearby.

Barn Owl

Barn Owl is a 5-metre Lotus Dome Tent featuring a luxurious Hill Billy Bath hot tub for ultimate relaxation. It sleeps two adults in a king-size bed, made up and ready, with camp beds available for children (please bring your own sleeping bags and pillows). The wooden cooking area includes two cooking points, a food preparation space, all necessary utensils and crockery and an electric fridge for convenience. Outside, a BBQ area can be transformed into a campfire for toasting marshmallows, complemented by a picnic bench and occasional chairs for outdoor enjoyment. A private shower room is conveniently located near the tent.

Visiting the Area

We are in a great position for discovering all that the area to offer. You can visit the seaside towns of Whitby, Robin Hoods Bay and Staithes. The North Yorkshire Moors offers an abundance of walking routes, whilst a ride on the North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway is the perfect way to admire the natural scenery.
