Spital Farm Camping Site in Staxton offers pitches for campers and tourers, based in a picturesque countryside setting. Our family-run campsite near Scarborough is in a peaceful location and ideally placed for discovering all North Yorkshire offers.

Our campsite is small but well-equipped for a relaxing holiday. We offer grass-level pitches that are well-maintained. The whole site is illuminated nightly.

Children are welcome to play freely and we have a range of facilities onsite:

Ladies & gents shower/toilet block with wash basins, hair drying facilities & shaving points.

Washing up area with hot and cold water.

Car parking.

Electric hook-ups/full motor home service point.

Elsan chemical toilet disposal and bin area for general refuse.

Drinking water is provided in several areas around the site.

We also have the Spital Inn which serves delicious home-cooked food and a popular Sunday carvery. The bar serves a range of drinks including local hand-pulled ales, wine, gin and spirits.

Onsite we also have a themed shopping centre and tearoom. The tea room offers hand-cut sandwiches and cakes, and there is an onsite bakery. Buy some produce from the farm shop and the craft centre turns into a Christmas village at Christmas.

Whilst staying with us you can explore the local area. There are lots of beautiful countryside walking and cycling routes to enjoy. Visit the nearby seaside resort of Scarborough, home to shops, attractions and a lovely beach. Attractions to visit include:
