The farmhouse enjoys a perfect secluded location just a five-minute walk from the picturesque village of Buckden, with panoramic views of Buckden Pike and Wharfedale, often considered the most beautiful of all the Yorkshire Dales.

Sensitively restored to retain its charming, authentic interior, Redmire features three very comfortable en-suite guest bedrooms and a guest sitting room that is accessible all day. Central to the Dales and open year-round except for Christmas, Redmire offers a convenient base for touring the surrounding dales with their limestone villages and historic market towns.

Local dining options include eateries in Cray and Buckden, just a five-minute walk away. (Bring a torch, as there are no streetlights, but you’ll be amazed by our starry skies.) There are also pleasant inns serving good food and real ale in the nearby villages of Cray, Starbotton, and Hubberholme, all within 1.5 miles of the farm, making for a lovely summer evening riverside walk.

You are welcome to bring your dog, or even your horse by arrangement, there are fantastic trails and walks from the door. The farm is the ideal base for walkers who want to discover this stunning area.
