Bugthorpe Grange offers a countryside location for your glamping stay, situated at the foot of the Yorkshire Wolds on the Garrowby Estate, the largest of the Earl of Halifax’s estates. Surrounded by rolling farmland and woodland, it’s perfect for a peaceful getaway.

Our four locally manufactured glamping pods provide quality, affordable accommodation with unexpected home comforts and luxuries. Fully insulated and equipped with underfloor heating, they are ideal for year-round stays. The lounge area includes a comfortable sofa, extendable dining table and chairs and a wall-mounted Smart TV. The kitchenette features a ceramic hob, fridge with ice compartment, microwave, kettle, coffee maker, toaster and a range of crockery and cookware.

Designed with families in mind, each pod can sleep up to five people with two double beds featuring Sealy mattresses and one single bunk bed for a child. The unique layout allows children to sleep while parents relax with a movie and a glass of wine. Beds are made up with luxurious cotton linen and duvets.

Each pod has a wet room with a shower, heated towel rail, and towels. Outside, you'll find a furnished decking area with seating and a fire pit, perfect for enjoying the outdoors. A pack of logs is included, with additional packs available for purchase. High-quality ‘Outdoor Chef’ gas BBQs are also available for hire.

The Yorkshire Wolds, stretching from the Humber estuary to Flamborough Head, offer dry grassy valleys, rolling chalk hills, unspoiled villages, market towns, and a dramatic coastline. For the energetic, the 79-mile Yorkshire Wolds Way walk provides a chance to experience the area's wildlife, villages and landscapes. Bugthorpe Grange is ideally located for exploring the natural beauty of the Yorkshire Wolds and is within easy reach of attractions such as the historic City of York, Castle Howard, Sledmere House, Beverley Minster and Hull, the 2017 UK City of Culture. The seaside town of Bridlington is also just 30 miles away.
