Hinderwell Escape is a charming stone cottage set back from the road in the picturesque village of Hinderwell, situated between the historic fishing villages of Staithes and Runswick on the stunning North Yorkshire coast. The cottage offers a perfect retreat, combining traditional character with modern comforts.

The interior is thoughtfully designed to honour the cottage's age and architecture. Vintage and traditional furnishings complement the structure, while modern conveniences like Wi-Fi and Freeview TV ensure a comfortable stay. Traditional lime plaster and casein paintwork have been preserved in the attic alongside ancient woodwork and a wood-burning stove has been installed in the sitting room to enhance the authentic atmosphere.

The cottage is fully equipped for a comfortable stay. The sitting/dining room has a wood-burning stove and Freeview TV and DVD player. The well-equipped kitchen has a dining area and has been upgraded with an induction hob to reduce emissions and improve air quality, paired with an A-rated Glide & Hide oven. There are three double bedrooms and linen & towels are included. Essential amenities such as a washing machine, iron, travel cot, high chair and baby bath are all included and the property also offers a downstairs toilet, a shower room and an upstairs toilet and washroom. Outside there is a private garden with seating area and BBQ.

Ideally situated, Hinderwell Escape is close to stunning beaches like Runswick and Sandsend, as well as cliff-top walks along the Cleveland Way. With the North York Moors on its doorstep, the location is perfect for exploring the area on foot or by bike. Attractions include fossil hunting at Runswick Bay, browsing art and craft galleries in Staithes and enjoying a meal or drink in local pubs.
