The inviting living room features a dining area and a striking inglenook fireplace housing a multi-fuel stove. More than just a beautiful focal point, the stove provides warmth and a cosy ambiance, perfect for unwinding on the comfortable sofa after a day of exploring.

A few steps down from the living room leads to the characterful cottage kitchen, complete with an Aga and fully stocked with high-quality cooking equipment. Ample storage space and a full-size fridge and freezer make self-catering effortless.

Upstairs, the spacious bedroom is a true retreat, boasting a luxurious king-size bed, elegant soft furnishings and charming views of the village and surrounding fells. The adjoining modern en-suite bathroom features a bath with an overhead shower, blending contemporary comfort with timeless charm.

The cottage is heated throughout with modern electric radiators and includes unlimited free Wi-Fi and a 43” smart TV. Parking is available in the village on a first-come, first-served basis. To support the local community, guests are encouraged to use the nearby village car park, just a three-minute walk from the cottage. A parking permit is provided, ensuring no additional cost.

To make your stay as comfortable as possible, luxury bed linen, towels, and electricity are included in the rental fee. An initial supply of fuel for the stove is provided, with an honesty box available for additional supplies.
