Both cottages have been sympathetically converted from old farm buildings, providing a cosy and well-maintained home from home.

The Arches (sleeps 4): The Arches is the first of two holiday cottages which have been converted from old farm buildings. The accommodation is comfortable, well maintained, and furnished to a high standard. In addition, both the Arches and the Stables self-catering cottages are all on ground floor level, with easy access, making them suitable for people with limited mobility. The cottage is very well equipped with many facilities, including a widescreen TV with Freeview and DVD player.

The Stables (sleeps 6): It is a few years since we set to work converting the old stables into a cosy holiday cottage and we're very pleased with the result. The Stables retains many of its original features: high kitchen ceilings, exposed wood beams and attractive stonework. It is furnished to a very high standard with quality furniture, widescreen TV with Freeview, a DVD player and a well-equipped kitchen.

The Stables holiday cottage is full of the kind character and original charm you might expect from a converted farm building. Add to this the many home comforts and facilities provided, and you have a most agreeable and comfortable way to spend a week self-catering in North Yorkshire.

In Slingsby you will find a pub, restaurant, farm shop and children's play park. Nearby are the market towns of Malton, Kirkbymoorside, Pickering and Helmsley, while York and the East Coast are also within easy reach.
