The Byres Holiday Cottage offers self catering accommodation at Selside, just a short drive from Settle in North Yorkshire. We are situated in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park with many walks right on our doorstep.

Our cottage dates from the 18th Century and now offers self catering accommodation. The cottage is on a working farm, surrounded by countryside.

The cottage has a cosy living room with exposed beams, an open coal fire, plus an alternative electric fire, flat-screen TV, DVD player, DVDs, books and toys. There is a well-equipped kitchen which has an electric cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, kettle and toaster. You can savour a delicious home-cooked meal in the dining room which seats 6.

The upstairs area consists of 3 good-sized bedrooms: 1 king, 1 double and 1 twin. The bedrooms share a bathroom. All the bedrooms have original beams and are furnished with pine furniture consisting of a bed, bed side cabinets with lamps, wardrobe, dressing table, chair and chest of drawers. All the beds are fully made upon your arrival electric blankets for all beds are provided.

We have an outside area that consists of a private secluded multi-level patio area with mature rockery garden which can be accessed from the lounge. The patio is ideal for relaxing with a good book or unwinding after a hard day. A good range of patio furniture is provided allowing for outdoor eating along with a charcoal BBQ and washing line.

Many tourist attractions are within easy reach of the cottage for day trips as well as many walks able to be started from the door. Attractions to visit include:
