Castle Vale House in Berwick-Upon-Tweed offers fabulous en suite bed and breakfast accommodation in a delightful Victorian country house. Our guest house in Northumberland is only a 10-minute stroll to the centre of town and or a beautiful 15 minute using the riverside path.

Our magnificent property is elegantly furnished and boasts well-used furniture, quirky paintings and the odd belongings. From the garden, you can savour glorious views across the River Tweed. In total, we have 5 wonderful rooms to choose from.

Room 1: Superior King with an en suite shower room which overlooks the Tweed, the Stephenson Viaduct and the Old and Royal Tweed bridges.

Room 2: Superior en suite King/Twin which enjoys outstanding views of the gardens and the river.

Room 3: Superior King-size room including an en suite with a spacious walk-in shower. The view overlooks the river and distant road bridges.

Room 4: Classic Double with a bath.

Room 5: Classic Double en suite which boats delightful river views.

Whilst staying with us you can enjoy homemade bread, preserves and yogurt and local produce.

There are numerous lovely walks only moments away by the sea, golf course or around the town walls. You can take a bus to discover the coast of North Northumberland or the Scottish Borders or take the train to arrive in Edinburgh or Newcastle within the hour. Great attractions to visit include:
