Glendale Leisure is a farmstead offering two self-catering cottages, located in the heart of Hadrian's Wall just a short drive from the Northumberland town of Haltwhistle. The cottages can be booked individually or combined to accommodate larger family gatherings. Both cottages have the luxury of their own private hot tub.

Glendale Mews

This is a single-storey property which accommodates two guests, the ground floor features an open-plan living space with a 30" Freeview TV in the living area, a dining area and a well-equipped kitchen with an electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. The conservatory, with French doors leading to a private garden, provides a peaceful retreat. The bedroom includes a double (4ft 6in) bed and Freesat TV, while the bathroom offers a bath with a shower over and a toilet. Outside, guests can enjoy a lawned garden with a patio and garden furniture, perfect for relaxing.

Glendale Cottage

Glendale Cottage offers a comfortable and well-equipped cottage with a spacious layout across two floors. On the ground floor, the living room features a Freeview TV, DVD player, CD player and an electric wood burner, alongside a dining room, a kitchen with an electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher and a utility room with a washing machine. The ground floor also includes a bedroom with two single beds. Upstairs, there is a king-size bedroom and another bedroom with two single beds, along with a bathroom featuring a bath with a shower over and a toilet. Outside, an enclosed lawned garden with a patio, garden furniture and a hot tub provides the perfect space for relaxation.

Guests have access to 11 acres of grounds and an indoor, heated swimming pool which guests can hire for private use (at cost). There is a small wooded picnic and play area with a log cabin function room and a large charcoal BBQ.

This area is ideal for walking, cycling, fishing, horse riding and bird watching. Hadrian's Wall World Heritage Site is a walk away plus Kielder Forest is an easy drive away. Slightly further afield are Carlisle, the Lake District, Hexham and Gateshead.
