Outchester & Ross Farm Cottages offer self catering accommodation hidden away on the idyllic Northumberland Heritage Coast, nestled between Holy Island and Bamburgh. In total, we have 8 luxurious properties to choose from, all in a scenic location.

Our award-winning properties have achieved either a 4 or 5-star rating and come with an array of excellent features to make your stay as comfortable as possible. All the properties are beautifully furnished and come with cosy living areas, well-equipped kitchens, modern bathrooms and beautiful bedrooms. Outside each property, there is a full enclosed garden for al fresco dining when the sun is shining. We also offer a star-gazing observatory, additional telescopes, a family-size canoe, a bird-watching hide and large mobile barbeques.

Shepherds Cottage: This end of terrace cottage sleeps 6 in a king en suite, twin and twin en suite room.

Curlew Cottage: Our terrace cottage sleeps 4 in a double en suite and twin room.

Dovecote Cottage: This terrace cottage sleeps 4 in a king en suite and twin room.

We are situated on the National Cycle Route 1 (Coast and Castles) and also on the northerly coastal stretch of St Oswald’s Way walking route which runs through the lovely Northumbrian countryside from Holy Island to Heavenfield in Tynedale. The historic towns of Berwick upon Tweed and Alnwick are 15 miles north and south.

Set within an Area of Outstanding Beauty and with miles of sandy beaches and majestic Northumbrian Castles close by, offering a great sense of tranquillity and calm for a truly restorative break.
