2 Old Farm Buildings offers wonderful self catering accommodation in the National Trust village of Lower Newton-by-the-Sea. Based near Caster in a scenic setting, we are just yards from the sandy beach at St Mary’s Haven. Further afield you can visit lots of attractions in Northumberland.

Our cottage sleeps up to 6 people and offers views across Embleton Bay to Dunstanburgh Castle. Only 50 yards away is the Ship Inn situated in Low Newton Square.

Inside we have a lounge with a flat-screen TV, DVD/ Player, log effect fire and direct access to the beach. The kitchen/dining area includes a range of appliances: fridge/freezer, washing machine/dryer, dishwasher, halogen hob, and electric cooker.

In total, there are 3 bedrooms. The Master bedroom with king sized bed, TV and beach views. A second bedroom comes with zip and link king-sized bed and beach views, whilst a third bedroom has twin beds. The rooms share a family bathroom.

Outside we have a south-facing rear lawn with a patio for al fresco dining whilst savouring the setting.

We are in a brilliant location for exploring the area, with lots of activities to enjoy, including sailing, windsurfing, fishing, horse riding, walks, bird watching and golf. Dunstanburgh Castle is nearby, or you can drive to the castles at Bamburgh, Lindisfarne, Warkworth and Alnwick. Visit world-famous Hadrian’s Wall, just 1 hour away. Attractions to visit include:
