The Reading Rooms at Haydon Bridge is ideally situated in Northumberland's wonderful countryside, whether your interests be walking, cycling, fishing, golf (6 miles away), shopping or riding.

Our wonderful guest house is ideal for a relaxing and comfortable holiday, from a weekend break to a longer stay. All the rooms are finished to a high standard and include en suite bathrooms with large showers and heated towel rails, a TV and a well-equipped hospitality tray. One room is on the ground floor and two can be used as family rooms.

Breakfast is served between 7:30 am and 9:30 am unless by prior arrangement, guests can choose from full English, Continental, vegetarian or healthy options.

Excellent facilities include: shed for cycles, a drying room for boots and a laundry service. Packed lunches are also available.

Within the village, you can enjoy some delicious food at The General Havelock Inn or The Anchor. Afterward, you can wander around The John Martin Walk. You can fish at Langley Dam, a 14-acre lake just 8 miles west of Hexham. The fish are stocked regularly and you can hire rods and buy some kit.
