The Reading Rooms at Haydon Bridge is perfectly located in the heart of Northumberland's countryside, offering easy access to a range of activities including walking, cycling, fishing, golf just six miles away, shopping, and horse riding ,the world heritage site Hadrian’s wall is 10 minutes by car. For guest staying at the Reading rooms more than one night, we are happy to offer lifts to and from the wall (please call to discuss).

Each of our three bedrooms features en-suite facilities, a television, hospitality trays and free WiFi. One room is conveniently located on the ground floor, while two can accommodate families.

For fishing enthusiasts, we are well located for fishing on the North or South Tyne Langley Dam, a picturesque 14-acre lake located just 8 miles west of Hexham is two miles away. The area is rich in heritage, surrounded by iconic sites such as Hadrian's Wall, National Trust properties, the stunning Lake District, the Northumberland coastline, historic castles and the vibrant Metro Centre.
