Rye Hill Farm Cottage
Details
Rye Hill Farm Cottage offers wonderful self catering accommodation on the outskirts of Slaley. We are only 5 miles from Hexham and perfect for a countryside retreat in Northumberland.
Our cottage, The Old Byre, is based on a 300-year-old working sheep farm and offers views of the Tyne Valley. The cottage was originally the milking byres and now offers modern accommodation for up to 7 people plus a baby in a cot.
Inside we have a well-equipped kitchen with a range of appliances: dual fuel cooker, dishwasher, fridge-freezer and microwave. There is a farmhouse table, and the laundry room houses a washing machine, tumble dryer and ironing facilities.
Unwind in the lounge after a day in the countryside. Facilities include underfloor heating, seating, a flat-screen TV and doors that open to a fenced patio.
In total, we have 3 en suite bedrooms, including a ground-floor twin en suite with a wet room. The first floor has a double with a king-size bed and a family room with a king-size bed and a single bed.
Outside we have an enclosed patio for al fresco dining whilst savouring the views. There are outdoor play areas, and the games barn has table tennis, skittles and a pool table.
