The Lord Nelson Inn offers charming accommodation in the delightful village of Besthorpe. Located near Newark on Trent in a beautiful area of Nottinghamshire, we are ideal for a peaceful getaway.

We have 2 en suite rooms available. Both rooms have an LCD TV, tea/coffee-making facilities and free Wi-Fi.

Room 1 has a double en suite with a shower and Room 2 also has a double en suite with a shower.

Our restaurant offers traditional pub fayre Wednesday to Saturday evenings and Sunday lunchtimes. From Ribeye steak to breaded scampi, we cater for all tastes.

Drinks available include Old Speckled Hen, Woodforde's Wherry and our own The Lord Nelson Inn Best Bitter. Wines are supplied by a local supplier.

Whilst staying with us you can visit the nearby market town of Newark on Trent. There are lots of shops and restaurants, and the town’s main attraction is Newwark Castle. Every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday there is a market. Attractions to visit include:
