The Peedie Hoose offers self catering accommodation ideally located in the heart of Dounby, Orkney in the West Mainland making it an ideal base for all visitors whether wishing to visit the many ancient archaeological sites, bird watch, fish or to simply relax and get away from it all.

The outside of the holiday cottage remains and retains it original charm, with the addition of a small new build extension at the rear. The inside has been fully modernised and tastefully decorated.

Living room:

The living room has been tastefully decorated and has 2 leather couches, one of which doubles up as a bed-settee and a very comfortable leather reclining chair with footstool. The television has built in video and DVD players and there is a Freeview digital receiver. There is also a mini hi-fi system. You will find a selection of CDs, DVDs and books and magazines that you can use while you stay.

Bedrooms:

There is one double bedroom and one triple bedroom. The triple bedroom has a double bed with a single bunk above – this is the room that families usually use for the children, it has an LCD TV with built in DVD. All bed linen and towels are provided.

Kitchen:

The fully fitted modern kitchen is equipped with everything you would expect and perhaps even a little more. If you wish to eat in and prepare your own meals you will find all the tools you need, even a fully stocked herb and spice rack

The kitchen has a microwave, dishwasher and a washing / drying machine. The dining area has patio doors that open out onto a private, fenced, flagstone patio area with a picnic bench.
