The Cherry Tree is based in the quaint village of Steventon, nestled between the bustling towns of Wantage and Didcot. Our pub near Abingdon offers cosy accommodation, delicious food and a range of refreshing drinks from the bar. We are just off the A 34 Trunk road which links the city of Oxford to the M4 motorway, making us a great destination for exploring Oxfordshire.

We have 7 comfortable bedrooms to choose from, all perfect for a peaceful night’s sleep after a jam-packed day sightseeing. You can choose from 3 double rooms in the main building and 4 rooms in the courtyard (2 king-size and two twins). One of our king-size rooms has an interconnecting door to one of the twins, great for a family getaway.

All our rooms are en suite and include tea and coffee-making facilities, toiletries, a hair dryer, fan and TV.

You can look forward to some tasty food whilst staying with us, created using fresh ingredients. From beer-battered fish and chips to a 10oz rump steak, we have something for everyone.

We have a lovely, beamed bar to enjoy a drink or two in, with well-kept ales, ciders and wines available. In the summer months, enjoy a drink in our fabulous courtyard garden.

The bustling market town of Abingdon is near to us, home to stunning architecture, shops, independent stores and the gorgeous Thames River. You can also visit its fascinating museum, a striking building that offers glorious views of the town. Visit the famous city of Oxford and visit its historical museums and attractions.
