Rose Cottage is a very pretty 18th Century holiday cottage that is located in a beautiful Cotswold village with a great pub within walking distance. It is full of features that provide a charming atmosphere including a wood burning and delightful cottage garden. The cottage can accommodate four guests.
This is an ideal location for exploring the pretty Cotswold Village and towns along with Oxford, Shakespeare Stratford, and the myriad of activities and attractions within the area available all year round. The cottage sits on a country lane that turn into a path which goes down to the pretty stream the meanders its way through the village.
Upon arrival at Rose Cottage you will be greeted by a welcome pack of tea, coffee, homemade cakes or scones and milk and you will be provided with the little extras you need on holiday like olive oil, cling film, foil etc.
Throughout the cottage the large windows have charming views over the back garden or the rooftops and gardens to the valley beyond. There is luxury linen on the king size beds, making it perfect for couples looking for a romantic getaway. Equally the beds can be unzipped to make two twin bedded rooms upon request, an with a sofa bed downstairs, groups of up to six guests can be accommodated.
The main village pub is just a stone’s throw from the cottage and has a great chef and a regularly changing menu. With three other pubs in the Village were you can sample the famous Hooky Ales, you will be spoilt for choice with places to eat and drink.
For those wanting to explore the area, the cottage is within forty minutes of Oxford with it’s stunning colleges, galleries and museums; Shakespeare Strafford-Upon-Avon; Woodstock and the Cotswold villages of Bourton-on-the-water; Burford and the historic town of the Stow-on-the-Wold.
