Kimbers Ark is an early nineteenth century farmhouse that offers comfortable guest accommodation just a few minutes’ walk from the centre of Banbury in Oxfordshire. Banbury has cosy pubs, good restaurants, a market and shops & is ideally located for those who want to visit the Cotswolds.
It is our aim to give you quality accommodation with a warm homely atmosphere and a traditional English breakfast.
Banbury, on the edge of the lovely Cotswolds, is only 60 miles from London and makes an ideal base for exploring the historical sites of the region. Just to mention a few: Broughton Castle, Warwick Castle, Stratford on Avon, Anne Hathaway’s cottage, Waddesdon Manor, Sulgrave Manor, Blenheim Palace.
Motoring buffs are well catered for by the Silverstone GP circuit, Gaydon Heritage Centre, Abingdon, the Morris and Bus Museum. Slightly further afield is the Morgan factory, Prescott hillclimb, Longbridge, Coventry Transport Museum and the fabulous Brooklands. Kimbers Ark is indeed the home away from home for the classic car enthusiast.
Kimbers Ark is just west of the main shopping area, which is only a short walk away. We are located on the corner of Warwick Road and Neithrop Avenue, on your right hand side as you leave the town heading towards Warwick.
