Caerwen offers two holiday cottages that seamlessly combine contemporary comfort with timeless charm. Each cottage, tastefully decorated and furnished to a high standard, accommodates up to six guests. They can be booked individually or together for larger groups. The front-facing rooms in both cottages boast spectacular sea views overlooking the harbour and the stunning St Brides Bay, making it a perfect setting for a coastal getaway.

Caerwen 1

Caerwen 1 offers a charming and comfortable layout. Downstairs, the entrance hall leads to a lounge with beamed ceilings, comfortable sofas and a television, perfect for unwinding while enjoying the views. Opposite is the dining room, also featuring beamed ceilings and an original slate floor, with a separate fully equipped kitchen off the dining area. The kitchen includes an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer and access to the rear garden. A shower room with a hand basin and W/C is also located on the ground floor. Upstairs, the first floor houses three bedrooms: the main bedroom with a double and single bed, a second bedroom with bunk beds and a third with a single bed, all provided with duvets, pillows, and blankets. A bathroom with a bath, hand basin and W/C completes the upper floor.

Caerwen 2

Caerwen 2 offers a welcoming layout, starting with an entrance hall that leads to a lounge and dining room, both featuring charming beamed ceilings. The lounge, furnished with comfortable sofas and a television, is ideal for relaxing and enjoying the views, while the dining room connects to a fully equipped kitchen with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and washer/dryer, with a door leading to the rear garden. The ground floor also includes a third bedroom with bunk beds and a bathroom featuring a roll-top bath, hand basin and W/C. Upstairs, the first floor houses the master bedroom with a king-size bed and a second bedroom with a double and single bed, all provided with duvets, pillows, and blankets. This floor also has a convenient cloakroom with a hand basin and W/C.

Kindly note that we do not provide towels. Guests are required to bring their towels.

Shared Garden

The shared garden, surrounding the cottages on three sides, provides a serene spot to take in the spectacular views of Solva Harbour and St Brides Bay while watching the world go by. The paved terrace at the front of the cottages is an ideal place to unwind with a drink after a long day. The cottages are easily accessed via a driveway with ample parking. For added convenience, it’s recommended to bring a torch for your walk back after an evening out.
