Llys-y-Fran Meadow Campsite

Haverfordwest, Parcymarl, Pembrokeshire

Details

Set in the heart of idyllic Pembrokeshire, Llys-y-Frân Meadow Campsite is the perfect base for exploring the stunning landscapes of West Wales. Conveniently located near the Preseli Mountains, charming coastal villages, and sandy beaches, the campsite is surrounded by the Pembrokeshire National Park, offering visitors both adventure and tranquility.

The site offers five spacious electric pitches, each with 15 metres of space. For those who prefer a more traditional camping experience, there are grass pitches set in the open meadow. Guests seeking a little more comfort can choose one of our deluxe pitches, located in a more secluded area of the field. These include a sheltered cooking area with a bench, a private fire pit and a BBQ grill - ideal for long, lazy summer evenings.

Llys-y-Frân Meadow's facilities include hot water showers, flushing toilets and a communal washing-up area that includes a freezer for ice blocks and a phone charging station. Once settled in, guests can relax in the natural surroundings, light a campfire, enjoy a barbecue, toast marshmallows and gaze up at the stars in the clear night sky.

With three acres of meadow to explore, there’s plenty of room to enjoy the natural beauty of the site. Children are free to roam, splash in the stream and enjoy a variety of outdoor fun including rope swings, slides, bale jumping and a large football pitch. Well-behaved dogs on leads are also welcome. Having a large family ourselves, we’ve designed the site to allow families to relax, have fun and make lasting memories together.

Just 200 metres from the campsite is Llys-y-Frân Lake, a newly developed outdoor activity centre. It offers a beautiful 7-mile walk around the lake, over 14 km of cycle and pump tracks and a variety of water sports including sailing, canoeing, kayaking, fishing and open water swimming.

The village of Maenclochog is less than three miles away and offers a local shop, a café and a friendly pub. A short drive takes you to Narberth, known for its boutique shops and food delicatessens. Head north and you'll pass through the Preseli Hills on your way to the coastal gems of Cardigan and Newport, where you’ll find stunning beaches and excellent dining options. To the south lies Tenby and the spectacular beaches of Barafundle, Freshwater West and Broadhaven South. For those interested in culture and history, St David’s Cathedral, the smallest city in the UK and Castell Henllys offer fascinating days out. With so much to see and do, one visit won’t feel like enough.

Up to 2 dogs welcome by arrangement, £6 per dog, per night.
