The lodge is a thoughtfully designed eco-friendly retreat, featuring a green living roof, solar-heated hot water and bamboo flooring throughout. The open-plan kitchen and living area boasts a striking double-height ceiling and two sets of folding doors that open onto a balcony. From here, guests can take in stunning views of Loch Kinardochy to the north and Schiehallion to the west.

The main living space is exceptionally bright and airy, with a log-burning stove and soft furnishings adding a warm and cosy touch for cooler evenings and winter days. A Sonos sound system fills the lodge with music and the atmosphere extends outdoors with the addition of a Sonos Move speaker. For evenings in, an extensive in-house movie collection pairs perfectly with the lodge's 50" 4K Smart TV, soundbar and rear speakers, offering a full cinematic experience.

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed for self-catering, including an oven, induction hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and coffee machine. A separate boot room with its own entrance includes a washing machine and tumble dryer, as well as space to dry outdoor clothing and gear.

The master bedroom suite features a handmade king-sized bed with Egyptian cotton sheets and an en-suite shower room complete with an overhead rain shower and separate handheld wand. A private seating area with comfortable chairs, a dressing table and a built-in wardrobe provides an extra layer of comfort and space. This seating area leads into the lodge’s sauna room.

The sauna is a modern Clearlight infrared two-person unit with its own sound system, offering a spa-like experience designed to enhance relaxation and well-being. Just outside on the balcony, the covered hot tub invites guests to soak while enjoying views of the loch, mountains, or starry skies. The balcony also includes a table and chairs and a gas-fired barbecue, making it perfect for outdoor dining and unwinding in nature.

Braes Lodge provides picnic hampers, jackets, and wellies for guests to use during their stay. A welcome hamper is also included upon arrival, filled with a hand-picked selection of local treats to enjoy.
