Craighead Howfs Glamping in Braco offers luxurious bespoke glamping. Based near Dunblane in Perthshire, our gorgeous, handcrafted glamping options are perfect for a truly magical holiday.

Our quirky glamping accommodation is nestled in a scenic countryside setting, surrounded by natural gardens, a lochan and atmospheric woodland areas. You can even see some of our lovely animals, including soay and ryeland sheep, ponies, two donkeys, pygmy goats, a variety of poultry including turkeys, rhea, guinea fowl, ducks and geese, plus two highland cows.

Hobbit Howfs – Bagend and Burrow: We offer stunning accommodation in one of our Hobbit Howfs, built right into the hillside and complete with a grass roof and round doors. Offering a truly enchanting getaway, there is nothing else quite like it. Both the Hobbit Howfs include a handmade rustic double-size bed with a star-gazing window above, a toasty wood burner, kitchen area, compost toilet and bespoke hand-carved wooden sinks. Bagend has a fabulous slipper bath a handheld shower, whilst The Burrow has a hobbit style shower. Outside there is a fire/BBQ with seating, perfect for al fresco dining whilst savouring the views.

Tree Howf: Our amazing Tree Howf is built into a majestic ancient Ash Tree, a truly sublime creation. This beautifully designed treehouse has been superbly furnished and boasts glorious 360 degrees over the Ochil hills beyond. Wonderful facilities include a handmade rustic king-size bed with a huge star gazing window above, a wood burner for the winter months, a kitchen area with an Antique Belfast sink and a lavish integral hot shower. Downstairs there is a designer eco-friendly toilet and from the platform, you enjoy a glass of bubbly whilst enjoying the fantastic views. Outside there is a fire pit and BBQ.

Whisky Howf: This lovely squint roofed cottage is brimming with charm and character, nestled at the side of the little lochan on Craighead Farm. Surrounded by outstanding wildlife, you can spend hours watching the swallows, fish and frogs over the lochan. Outside there is a fire pit for huddling around while gazing at the starry night sky. Inside there is a hand-crafted rustic king-size bed, a lovely wood-burning stove, kitchen area with bespoke worktops, en suite compost toilet and opulent roll slipper bath. Outside there is a fire pit and seating for al fresco dining.

Summer Howf: Our stylishly renovated summer house offers a garden feel inside to blend yourself into our country garden. Set amongst trees at the top of the duck pond, we offer the ultimate romantic retreat. Inside there is a wood-burning stove, bed balcony with star gazing window and a kitchen area. Outside there is an open fire pit and a private seating area with a canopy and picnic area.

Wee Tree Howf: Opening on April 8th, this magnificent treehouse is being upgraded to offer glorious accommodation. Inside there is a woodburning stove for the winter months, a fabulous slipper bath to soak yourself in and superb windows to take advantage of the spectacular views.
