Inside the house is comfortably furnished and architecturally delightful with many period features such as the stunning staircase. The rooms are bright and spacious and there is a wonderful TV/sitting room on the west wing which even has a private bar for self catering guets– perfect for a family celebration as well as a charming drawing room complete with grand piano - so there is plenty of space for larger groups. The bedrooms are of good size with a high proportion of en suite bathrooms and a family bathroom with a very unusual and attractive deep stone bath.
Pitlochry is the centre of tourism in Highland Perthshire. The town at its most picturesque in the summer and autumn, with its stone Victorian buildings which have a particular Perthshire style to them and the fantastic floral display put on by Pitlochry In Bloom. You will find two distilleries, including Edradour – Pitlochry Theatre - and a host other attractions to choose from.
Highland Perthshire is undoubtedly one of the very best, most scenically stunning and versatile destinations in Scotland, and indeed the UK – and for memorable short breaks, holidays, vacations, and special occasions and celebrations in Scotland it has few equals.
