Dolswydd Caravan Park offers superb family friendly accommodation located in Penybont near Llandrindod Wells in Powys. It is an ideal touring base for the picturesque surrounding countryside and local attractions or for a one night stop en route to the coast, only one hour away.

Dolswydd is situated on the edge of a traditional working farm and common land. The park is peaceful and tranquil, with fine views of the welsh hills. it is home to an abundance of local wildlife including swans who visit daily, red kites, buzzards, otters, ducks, woodpeckers, curlews, hare and mink.

It has modern facilities and 25 good spacious pitches mainly on hard standings, all with electric connections (16A). The park is within walking distance of the local pub which offers good home cooked food.

We are very keen to recycle as much waste as possible and so recycling bins are available.

Guests are welcome to fish in the adjacent River Ithon and use paths throughout the farm for walking.

The park is situated just outside of Penybont on the A44, which is two miles from the Junction of the A44 and A483 roads at Crossgates. The nearest shop and garage is in the village of Crossgates and the nearest supermarket is in Llandrindod Wells.

Fishing is available on the River Ithon that runs alongside the park and farm land and public footpaths run through the farm to Llandegley Rocks and surrounding hills.

When staying at the park you will enjoy stunning views of the countryside of Mid Wales. You are also only ½ hour drive from the Elan Valley reservoirs as well as other local beauty spots and attractions.
