Lower Porthamel Organic Farm is nestled on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park, perfect for an idyllic getaway. We are near Talgarth and a range of excellent attractions in Powys.

Our Orchard Campsite provides a tranquil camping experience in a picturesque setting. This gorgeous space offers guests the freedom to pitch where there want and there are fire pits for campers. We sell seasoned firewood as well. Facilities include:

Hot showers.

Toilets.

Food preparation area and pizza oven.

Drinking water taps.

Communal fridge and freezer.

Charging facilities for mobile phones.

Sinks for washing Up.

Baby changing facilities.

Disabled toilet.

For those that doesn’t fancy the traditional camping experience, you can say in our Camping barn. The barn comes equipped with 10 camping beds, a long table, kitchen facilities and a large wood burner, making it great for a family or group getaway. The only things you need to bring is bedding. Guests also have access to the toilet and showers shared with camping guests.

We part of an organic farm and have recently opened a brewery that sells organic apple juice from our orchard.

Lots of great attractions and activities area in the area. Locally there is hiking, fishing, walking, kayaking, paddle boarding, canoeing, horse riding, gorge walking and cycling. Brilliant attractions to visit include:
