Plas Dolgoug offers luxurious guest house accommodation in Felingerrig, based in the foothills of Snowdonia. Our newly redesigned house near Machynlleth is perfect for a magical getaway in a picturesque countryside setting. Further afield you can discover lots of attractions in Powys.

We have a range of individually furnished en suite bedrooms available, offering a blend of British and French antiques, plus period fabrics and wallpapers. Each room has a private balcony that offers views of Snowdonia. In total, we can sleep up to 10 people.

The Wagner Suite sleeps 1-4 people and comes with a king-size bed, separate sitting with further sleeping space, plus an en suite with a roll-top bath. The Puccini Room sleeps 1 -2 people in a king room and features an en suite shower.

We also have The Bizet Room, sleeping 1-2 people in a double bed. The en suite features a walk-in shower. The Handel Room sleeps 1-2 people in a double room and features and an en suite shower.

Enjoy breakfast in the Italo-renaissance music room. The menu offers locally sourced ingredients and homegrown produce from head chef James Martin.

Our venue includes The Orangery which can seat 200 people and the drawing room which has a fully stocked bar. Outside we an have infinity lawn, ‘Secret Garden’ and award-winning ‘Grandma’s Garden’.

Whilst staying with us you can visit lots of attractions in the area. Visit the rural market town of Machynlleth, home to shops, antique stores and galleries. Every Wednesday there is a market to enjoy. The area has lots of scenic walks and cycle routes, or you can explore the RSPB Ynys-hir. Attractions to visit include:
