The Dinas Castle Inn provides guest accommodation and delicious food in the village of Pengenffordd. As the highest pub in the Brecon Beacons National Park, we boast breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and countryside. Our location is perfect for visiting Talgarth and exploring a wide variety of attractions across Powys.

We are a great place to stay for stag and hen dos, bikers, corporate gatherings, military team-building getaways and Duke of Edinburgh holidays.

Our pub offers a range of accommodation, including four bed and breakfast rooms, 3 bunkhouses that sleeps 6, 10 or 12 and a shepherd’s hut for glamping. We can sleep up to 40 people indoors and a small campsite for tents is also available.

You can relax with a drink or two around the log fire in the bar. There is also a pool table and a range of board games are available. In the summer months, enjoy a drink in the large beer garden.

We offer delicious home-cooked food from 6 pm – 9 pm in the evening. Our specialty is steaks, served on a hot rock.

Our inn is situated between the towns of Crickhowell and Talgarth, making us a great place for exploring the area. You can also visit Brecon, Abergavenny and Hay-on-Wye. Lots of activities can be enjoyed in the area, including horse riding, climbing, canoeing and kayaking. Attractions to visit include:
