Details

Garth Holiday Park offers a peaceful and relaxing base for those looking to escape the pace of everyday life, whether to explore the surrounding countryside on foot or simply unwind in tranquil surroundings. Located just outside Machynlleth on the edge of Snowdonia National Park, the park is perfectly placed for discovering the natural beauty of the area, with plenty to see and do close by.

The park’s welcoming cabins are tucked into the Dovey Valley, where rolling hills and abundant wildlife create a calm and restorative setting. Each cabin is designed for comfort, with two bedrooms and space to sleep up to four people. The master bedroom benefits from an en-suite bathroom and the generously sized living area provides plenty of room to relax. Kitchens are well equipped with all the essentials and flow into open-plan dining spaces, making it easy to enjoy meals together. One of the cabins has a hot tub and is adult only.

Surrounded by picturesque landscapes, the cabins provide a connection to nature. As evening falls, the changing light across the hills creates a striking backdrop, with shifting colours and long shadows adding to the sense of peace. From inside, guests can enjoy a quiet drink while looking out across the patchwork of green fields and distant slopes, accompanied by the gentle sounds of leaves in the breeze and birdsong in the distance.

For those who enjoy exploring, the park is an excellent starting point for walks through woodland trails and scenic routes, as well as gentle strolls into Machynlleth itself. The varied landscape means there is always something new to discover, from hidden viewpoints to quiet corners of countryside.

When night arrives, the absence of city lights reveals clear, star-filled skies. Guests can sit outside wrapped in blankets or gather around a fire pit, taking in the vast spread of stars above. In this natural setting, time slows and the simple pleasure of the views and fresh air becomes the highlight, offering a chance to recharge and reconnect with nature in a truly calming environment.

We also offer static caravans for sale, please see our website for details.
