The Neuadd holiday cottages provides excellent self catering accommodation in Llangattock, just 5 minutes’ drive from Crickhowell in Powys. We are nestled in a beautiful and quiet location, enjoying open views of The Sugar Loaf, Table Mountain and Llangattock Mountain.
All our cottages are beautifully furnished, brimming with character and come with a range of facilities to suit all your needs. The cottages were sympathetically renovated from barns and stables.
Usk (sleeps 2): This apartment is perfect for a romantic getaway and comes with a four poster bedroom, spacious open plan living area, well equipped kitchen and stunning views across Crickhowell and the Usk Valley.
Valley View (sleeps 2): Our ground level cottage has an open plan living area, full height windows, a fully equipped kitchen and cosy double bedroom.
Oak Tree (sleeps 6): This cottage boasts oak beams, stone walls and a wooden floor. The hand-crafted kitchen comes with a range of appliances and you can relax in the living/dining area. Upstairs is a double and two twin rooms. All the room share a spacious bathroom off the landing.
Sugar Loaf (sleeps 4): Our ground level cottage enjoys views over the mountains and courtyard. The spacious dining/living area enjoys original features and comes with a large dining table. A well-equipped kitchen is also available. A double bedroom and two single bedrooms are available.
Trelawney (sleeps 4): This single storey barn conversion looks out over the paddock and Llangattock mountain. The lounge area has a wood burning stove, comfy sofas and floor to ceiling windows. A kitchen leads off the lounge/dining area. The bedrooms have a modern feel and a luxurious bathroom comes with a jacuzzi bath and a separate walk in shower.
Vinetree Cottage (sleeps 2): Our lovely upstairs apartment is cosy and intimate. The lounge/dining area has a comfy sofa and an old pine table. A hand-crafted kitchen is available. The king size en suite double bedroom comes with a vaulted ceiling and solid pine bed.
There are canal and riverside walks from the door of your self catering accommodation and if you're cyclists like us then there are excellent road and mountain bike rides close by. There's space here to sit out, fettle your bike, soak up the views, check over your canoe, do some painting, or photograph the sunrise over The Sugar Loaf.
Crickhowell is one of five hubs for the start of mountain bike routes in the Brecon beacons. Two rides start from the car park at the back of the tourist office in Crickhowell – this is about a 10 minute spin from our cottages.
