Situated in the scenic Scottish Highlands and positioned along the renowned North Coast 500 (NC500) route, our trio of privately owned holiday cottages, Rosemount Cottages & Bothy, offer a blend of historical allure and modern conveniences. Dating back to around 1840, these dwellings have been thoughtfully updated to include contemporary amenities while preserving the traditional Highland charm and warmth. Each property features distinct characteristics and is available for booking either separately or as a collective, subject to availability.

Rosemount Cottage One and Cottage Two, the latter being the more spacious of the trio, each comfortably house up to four guests. The Rosemount Bothy, while ideally suited for two, can extend its welcome to four visitors with the inclusion of a double sofa bed. Shared amongst the cottages is off-road parking capable of accommodating five vehicles and a generous garden space of roughly half an acre along the Black Water riverbank. All cottages come with Freesat TV, Wi-Fi and fully equipped kitchens, alongside individual garden spaces and ample parking facilities.

Guests can enjoy exclusive fishing rights along the Black Water River, which flows through our property, with the exception that the garden of The Bothy is not enclosed.

Garve serves as an idyllic base for exploring the Highlands, offering an authentic Scottish Highland experience while providing convenient access to Inverness city and its airport (approximately 25 and 40 miles away, respectively). Just a 30-mile drive leads to Ullapool, where you can catch a CalMac ferry for a day trip to the Isle of Lewis. The Isle of Skye, known for its dramatic landscapes, is a little over an hour away by car. Moreover, Garve's railway station, just a short walk from Rosemount, offers three trains daily for easy excursions to Plockton, Kyle of Lochalsh, or back into Inverness, making for a spectacular train journey. The famous Bealach na Ba pass, a highlight of the NC500, is only an hour's drive away, promising an unforgettable adventure through the Pass of the Cattle to Applecross.
