Winkston Holiday Accommodation is set on a picturesque working farm just outside Peebles in the heart of the Scottish Borders, only 16 miles south of Edinburgh. Surrounded by stunning views of the Border countryside, our cottages offer the perfect rural escape while remaining conveniently close to town, just under five minutes away. With frequent bus services to Edinburgh and destinations throughout the Scottish Borders passing right by our driveway, Winkston is an ideal base for exploring both the vibrant capital and the peaceful countryside.

Ploughman's Rest and Cosy Neuk offer tasteful decoration and comfortable furnishings with continuous upgrading, providing luxury accommodation for up to four people in each cottage.

Downstairs, each cottage has an open plan lounge/dining and kitchen area as well as a toilet and shower room. The bedroom has zip and link beds so you can have twin beds or a King sized bed. From the lounge area a spiral staircase leads to a minstrel gallery and second sleeping area with twin beds or a Kings sized bed again zip and link. Facilities included are:

Also available is Bothy Cottage which can sleep 2-3 people. This cottage sleeps up to 2 people or 3 people with an additional camp bed. Upstairs has a relaxing TV & DVD area with comfy chairs and foot stool. Outside there is a seating area and shared garden space to enjoy, perfect for a relaxing coffee in the afternoon sun.

These cosy self catering cottages are only five minutes drive from Peebles town centre or a 15 minutes’ walk via a footpath that runs from Winkston down to Peebles.
