Dating back to 1750, The Border Hotel captivates discerning travellers with its traditional thatched roof and striking frontage at the head of the village green. The hotel features six comfortable en suite rooms, each named after local hills, walks and rivers:

- St. Cuthbert: A spacious 2-bedroom suite.

- Pennine: Overlooks the green and includes a small lounge area with a sofa bed.

- Cheviot and Tweed: Cosy rooms that can be arranged as doubles or twins.

- Bowmont and Teviot: Available as doubles, offering a warm and welcoming stay.

Kirk Yetholm is best known as a centre for walkers. The Pennine Way Long Distance Footpath ends at the Border Hotel, a mere 268 miles north of its southern terminus in Edale, Derbyshire. Kirk Yetholm has also become a feature on the St. Cuthbert's Way, a 62 mile walk following in the footsteps of St. Cuthbert from Melrose to Lindisfarne.
