Wauchope Cottages in Hawick offers self catering accommodation in a range of single-storey timber-clad cottages. Our cottages in the Scottish Border are only 2 miles from the village of Bonchester Bridge and further afield you can visit lots of attractions.

Our cottages are all tastefully furnished and come with a range of excellent facilities. They all have fully enclosed rear gardens and ample parking spaces. Dogs are most welcome but must not be left unattended. Other pets by arrangement.

Wheelrig Cottage enjoys views from the garden and is all on one level, with parking in front and enclosed gardens looking around the neighbouring fields.

As well as the enclosed rear gardens there is a large lawned area in front of the cottages, ideal for playing badminton, football and training your dogs etc.

There are plenty of walks direct from your cottage door. Wauchope forest covers a very large area and some of the walks and cycle tracks are signposted.

The village has a very friendly public house, the Horse and Hound. We are well situated to visit many main towns with Edinburgh, Newcastle and Carlisle just over an hour and 20 minutes away. The east coast is about an hour and a half away. Attractions to visit include:
