Brungasta House, Voe, Shetland
Brungasta House offers self catering holiday accommodation situated in Voe, Shetland.
Brungasta is a traditional stone built house, part of which is over 100 years old but it now has a brand new two storey extension consisting of three double bedrooms, and two bathrooms one of which is en suite.
Downstairs it has a large kitchen, lounge and hallway. The house is situated in the picturesque village of Voe in the Shetland Islands and looks out over the Voe itself and is a short walk to the pier which can be seen from the house.
The Pierhead Restaurant and Bar is two minutes walk away, and there is also a bakery nearby. Voe is a great central location for exploring Shetland. The ferries which depart to the North Isles are a twenty minute drive to the north, and Lerwick is approx. 25 minutes drive to the south.
Shetland has magnificent scenery from every aspect of the Islands, good sandy beaches and nowhere in Shetland is more than three miles from the sea.
Shetland also hosts the biggest Fire Festival in Europe called "Up Helly Aa". This Festival is always held on the last Tuesday in January in Lerwick but there are also smaller fire festivals held in various rural communities and these are held between January and March every year.
