Savoch Unst provides self-catering accommodation in Baltasound, set on the beautiful island of Unst, the most northerly of the Shetland Islands. Surrounded by stunning scenery, it’s the perfect base for exploring the island’s unique wildlife, rugged coastline and rich cultural heritage.
Our former police house has been recently refurbished to offer modern accommodation. The house sleeps up to 8 people and it comes with lots of facilities.
Inside we have a modern kitchen/dining area which is equipped with a kettle, dining table, cutlery, oven, hob, slow cooker, toastie machine, washing machine, microwave and dishwasher. You can relax in the sitting room after a day exploring. Facilities include comfy seating, a gas fire and Freeview TV.
We have 2 double bedrooms, 1 twin room and 1 single room. All the rooms come with fresh bedding and linen, a hair dryer and ironing facilities. Upstairs there is a bathroom with a shower over the bath and a toilet. Downstairs there is a toilet.
Outside we have a large garden with a picnic table, great for a coffee whilst enjoying views over Baltasound.
We are within walking distance of all the local attractions and amenities. You can also visit other areas of the island, including Uyeasound, Muness, Haroldswick, Burrafirth and Hermaness. Attractions to visit include:
