Rocklea Retreat offers fabulous guest house accommodation in Bruray. Nestled in the Out Skerries in a beautiful area of the Shetland Islands, we are the perfect place to escape from the pressures of modern life.

Our former croft house offers modern accommodation and is surrounded by 9 acres of registered croft. Outside there is a private walled garden to relax in whilst enjoying the local wildlife.

The bedrooms are based on the first floor and boast breathtaking sea views. Each room faces west over Voe, while the guest lounge faces east and enjoys a harbour view.

Hevda: Our king room offers sea views and comes with a TV and superfast Wi-Fi. A toilet and shower room are across the hall.

Mio: This west-facing room enjoys sea views and comes with a TV and superfast Wi-Fi. A toilet and shower room are across the hall.

You can relax in our comfy guest TV lounge after a day exploring. Facilities include a DVD player, Blu-ray films and games. We also have a fully equipped modern kitchenette to use.

Our guest house is in the ideal location for discovering all that the local area has to offer. Just a short stroll away is the airstrip and Bruray Ward - the highest point on Out Skerries.

In Skerries, there are lots of inlets and bays to enjoy, perfect for sailing, swimming and snorkelling. In Bruray there is a harbour and ferry terminal, plus lots of beautiful coastal walks.
