Conkers Cottage offers self catering accommodation near the market town of Church Stretton. Our barn conversion boasts amazing views of the Shropshire Hills and is in the ideal location for exploring the area.

Our barn conversion sleeps up to 5 people, great for an idyllic family or group retreat. The cottage is situated at the end of a private drive lined with chestnut trees, close to the owner’s farm.

Inside the cottage is a cosy open plan living area with a comfy sofas, a bed settee, an electric log-effect fire, TV and toys. Rustle up a storm in the fully-equipped kitchen that comes with a range of appliances: electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher.

Two attractive bedrooms are available: a super king and family room with a super king and a single with an attached playroom. Both super kings can be made into twin bedrooms. The first room comes with modern en suite facilities and there’s also a family bathroom and a ground-floor walk-in shower room with a WC.

Outside there is an enclosed patio with seating for al fresco dining whilst admiring the glorious countryside.

We are in the ideal location for discovering all that the area has to offer, with the quaint market of Church Stretton just 6 miles away. The town is home to lovely tea rooms, pubs and specialist shops. You can also enjoy scenic walks from the foot of Long Mynd or a enjoy a ride on the Telford Steam Railway. The bustling foodie town of Ludlow is just a 20-minute drive away. Attractions to visit include:
