Here at Vessons Camping based in Shropshire, you will experience the powerful therapeutic benefits that only nature can provide, the stunning views we offer give our clients peace and quiet, unhindered by others our pitches are at least 50 meters apart. We offer direct access to a labyrinth of footpaths so you can explore our amazing views.

Vessons Camping in Shrewsbury offers pitches for campers and VW camper vans, nestled on our 80-acre site. We boast views of the Shropshire Hills and are ideally placed for a wild-style camping experience.

Our back-to-basics campsite is based in a countryside setting. All the pitches are a minimum of 50 meters away from other pitches, ensuring lots of peace and privacy. Please note we have no have tarmac roads that lead to the pitches. We can offer farm vehicles for assistance if required.

We have non-electric grass tent pitches and non-electric grass campervan pitches available.

The pitches are only a short walk to the portable loo and WC. Facilities include drinking water and WC disposal. Fire pits are allowed.

Only a 5-minute drive from us is a local pub. A 30-minute drive will take you to the county town of Shrewsbury, home to shops, restaurants and cafes. You can visit the Shrewsbury Museum & Art Gallery or Attingham Park. Walk around the Stiperstones National Nature Reserve and see the local bird life. Attractions to visit include:

Shrewsbury Castle.

Shrewsbury Prison.

Theatre Severn.

Battlefield Bird of Prey Centre.
