Situated at the top of the Gorge, The Woodlands B&B is just a short 10-minute walk down the historic streets to the heart of Ironbridge. It’s a scenic stroll we think you’ll love and if you need a break on the way back, there’s a cosy pub where you can rest during the 20-minute walk uphill.

Each room includes an ensuite shower, a desk, clothes hanging space and complimentary toiletries. Tea, coffee and a selection of herbal teas are provided for your enjoyment. A TV in each room allows you to log into your own Netflix or Amazon Prime account, so you can unwind just like at home. For added comfort, the rooms feature underfloor heating and heated towel rails. All rooms have an extra-large double bed and a private bathroom. The Gorge and Bridge rooms open onto private terraces with garden views, separated by privacy screens. Guests are welcome to relax in the garden under our beautiful silver birch, affectionately known as the reading tree. The Severn room, which includes a larger ensuite, overlooks our quaint courtyard.

Each morning, a delicious cooked breakfast is served in the dining room or outside at our large table if the weather is pleasant. We use locally sourced ingredients from nearby butchers and bakers to provide the freshest start to your day. If you have any special dietary requirements, please let us know when you book so we can prepare accordingly.

The Woodlands B&B is a non-smoking property, but designated outdoor areas are available for those who wish to smoke or vape. We’re happy to welcome well-behaved dogs. To maintain harmony with our three resident cats, we kindly ask that dogs be kept on a lead while on the property. A nearby nature reserve, just a two-minute walk away, offers a perfect space for your dog to enjoy a good run.
