Tucked within Shropshire’s stunning Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, our family-run holidays offer comfort with open-air freedom. Choose from a spacious four bedroom cabin or our glamping pods, each with stunning countryside views. Spend relaxed days soaking up the peace of wide-open skies and star-filled nights, or venture out to explore the rich heritage nearby, discover the industrial charm of Ironbridge, step back in time at Blists Hill Victorian Town, wander the grand grounds of Attingham Park, or delve into Roman history at Wroxeter. Then return to your own private corner of luxury, situated in the heart of the Shropshire countryside.

Stag Lodge is a super comfortable and stylish holiday lodge. Triple glazed for warmth and quiet, it’s been thoughtfully designed to provide a luxurious and practical space for families or groups.

Inside, you'll find four bedrooms: two doubles, a triple bunk room featuring a double bed with a single overhead and a flexible zip-link room that can be arranged as either a king-size bed or two singles, depending on your preference. The lodge includes a main bathroom with an overhead shower, as well as a separate shower room, offering convenience for larger groups.

The open-plan kitchen, dining and living area is spacious and sociable, perfect for relaxing or entertaining. The fully equipped kitchen features quartz worktops and a breakfast bar, making it a functional and stylish place to cook and gather.

Outside, a large private garden and patio provide the ideal setting for alfresco dining or simply unwinding in the hot tub. Stag Lodge is dog-friendly, has high-speed fibre Wi-Fi and is fitted with plenty of lighting and power sockets to keep everyone connected and comfortable.

We also have four glamping pods available, please see our website for details.

Perched above the hamlet, the farm offers sweeping 180-degree views and vast skies, perfect for enjoying sunrises, sunsets and starry nights with minimal light pollution. Guests are free to explore the land, including a four-acre orchard, a 16-acre pasture with a brook and wildlife-rich areas where deer roam freely. Deer hides are available for spotting and photographing animals. A small herd of friendly pygmy goats adds charm to the farm and on rainy days, the communal games room provides a cosy space to enjoy table tennis, pool, or relax with other guests.

Much Wenlock and its surrounding countryside are crisscrossed with a superb network of well-marked walking trails, ideal for those looking to explore the area on foot. For more experienced walkers, the Shropshire Way offers a longer adventure, passing through historic towns like Shrewsbury, Clun and Ludlow and returning via scenic highlights such as the Clee Hills, Wenlock Edge, Ironbridge and the Wrekin. Just seven miles away, the Ironbridge Gorge, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, makes for a fascinating day out. Nearby National Trust properties include Benthall Hall (6 miles), Attingham Park (8 miles) and Powis Castle (31 miles). Other recommended visits include Wroxeter Roman City (5 miles), the historic market town of Bridgnorth (11 miles) and the culinary hotspot of Ludlow (24 miles).
