Sambrook Manor Cottages offer self catering accommodation in Sambrook near Newport in Shropshire. Fishing, horse riding & golf are all available, as well as countryside walks and cycle rides which can be enjoyed from the door step.

The Old Shippon sleeps 8 – 10 people. The feeling of space hits you as soon as you walk into the large kitchen/diner area of The Old Shippon. It comes with open ceilings and original exposed beams. The well equipped kitchen has an electric double oven & hob, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer and 50/50 fridge freezer. Three steps lead you into the living room which has double doors leading onto the patio & garden area. The view from the living room is unspoilt and has often been referred to as a scene from a constable painting. A sofa bed and easy chairs are in the upstairs mezzanine area above the living room, an ideal place for a spot of bird watching.

The cottage is very well laid out for two families who want to stay together, but also wish to have a bit of space to themselves. Two bedrooms and a bathroom are on one side of the holiday cottage and two bedrooms and a shower room are on the other side. A TV & DVD player are available in the living room as well as a selection of books, games & puzzles to enjoy.

Churn Cottage sleeps 4 people. It is a spacious two bedroom cottage which is completely on the ground floor level making it ideal for those who are less able or small children. The kitchen/diner is well equipped with a dishwasher, washer/dryer, 50/50 fridge/freezer, microwave, electric oven & hob. The wet room bathroom has a fantastic large walk in shower area and a big shower head for a luxurious feel. The under floor heating and heated towel radiator give the room a lovely warm feel with no stepping out onto cold tiles. The bathroom also has a large wall hung wash basin, modern nonslip tiles and grab grails where needed.

A TV & DVD player are available in the living room as well as a selection of books, games & puzzles to enjoy. Double doors lead you out of the living room onto a patio area which has table, chairs & charcoal BBQ. You can enjoy a lovely view of the river and grassy fields where the farm’s cows & sheep graze.

The Stables sleeps up to 7 people in a modern barn conversion. On the ground there is a double bedroom with exposed beams and an en suite wet room. The wet room comes with a large walk in shower and grab rails. Wheeled shower chairs are available if needed. There is also a spacious fully fitted kitchen/diner with 50/50 fridge freezer, electric oven and hob, full sized dishwasher and microwave. The living area comes with double doors which lead to a patio area with garden furniture and a charcoal BBQ. The first floor comes with a spacious triple bedroom with a double and single bed. A double en suite bedroom and family bathroom are also available.

Sambrook is a small picturesque village in between the historic market towns of Newport & Market Drayton on the border of Shropshire & Staffordshire. We are very close to the renowned Harper Adams Agricultural College and Lilleshall National Sports Centre.

Telford is our closest big town (15 mins) and boasts an array of activities including indoor shopping centre, ice rink, bowling alley, multi screen cinema, Telford town park and Horsehay Golf Club. Another 5 minutes down the road is the heritage site of Ironbridge, once the centre of the industrial world and now a beautiful town with a variety of local history museums and of course the world famous Ironbridge. Shrewsbury, the Royal Air force museum at Cosford and Hawkstone Park & follies are approximately 30 minutes’ drive away.
