Roundhouses offers unique accommodation in our bespoke roundhouses. Our adult-only retreat is the perfect place to escape to, nestled at the foot of Castle Hill on a wonderful organic farm. Our roundhouses near Crewkerne in Somerset are ideal for a short last-minute break or a memorable week away.

The whole site is nestled away in a magical natural setting with an abundance of wildlife, boasting stunning countryside views. We have two roundhouses to choose from, The Nest and The Hide. They are both beautifully designed with their own luxury bathrooms, a kitchen and living room. They come with their own gardens and an outdoor bath for bathing as the sun goes down.

Both properties sit at the very top of the site, enjoying glorious views across the fields. Beautifully finished they have been described as the love child between a yurt and our luxury treehouse. Featured in publications such as Conde Nast Traveller, this really is all about luxurious living and comes with a private garden and outdoor bath. Both interiors have been carefully designed for comfort with soft furnishings, dining table and chairs and a sofa to relax on while you enjoy the views. Deer are often seen walking across the fields, and at night you can hear owls calling to each other. It really is like being on a magical British safari.

The Woodland Sauna offers guests the perfect way to feel re-energised and rejuvenated in a breathtaking setting. The physiotherm infra red sauna offers better health benefits than a regular sauna and is more soothing to use as it heats your body and not the air temperature. Whilst feeling revitalised in the sauna, you savour the wonderful woodland views whilst listening to relaxing music. We even have an outdoor shower to use afterwards.

The area has so much to do and see. We are around a mile from the award-winning Gastro pub, The Lord Poulett Arms in Hinton St George, two miles from Waitrose and the leisure centre in Crewkerne, and 30 minutes by car to Lyme Regis and the iconic Jurassic Coast. Fantastic places to visit nearby include:

West Bay & Bridport, famous for being the gateway to the Jurassic Coast.

The market town of Bridport, a thriving artist community with twice-weekly markets on a Wednesday and Saturday.

West Bay, renowned for its stunning beach with golden cliffs and Rise cafe for delicious meals looking over the river.
