Shave Farm in Donyatt, Ilminster in Somerset, offers superb self catering accommodation in a newly converted barn and beautiful lodge. Situated only a short distance from the Blackdown Hills, The Quantock’s, Exmoor and the Mendip Hills, our working dairy farm is the perfect base from which to explore the local area.

Our gorgeous self catering properties are the ideal retreat for peace and relaxation. The self catering Cedar Lodge is a purpose built lodge sleeping up to 4 people with 2 en suite rooms available. Both bedrooms have modern en suite shower rooms, with 1 boasting a double shower. The first bedroom has a sumptuous king size bed, while the second has zip and link beds allowing the room to be made up as a double with super king bed or a twin with 2 single beds. The contemporary and comfortable open plan living area has 2 spacious leather sofas, dining area and fully equipped kitchen with an excellent array of facilities.

There is underfloor heating throughout and guests can relax and unwind with a morning coffee or glass of wine in the evening in the private courtyard, which includes BBQ, seating area and hot tub!

We have a delightful self catering cottage in a newly converted barn. The cottage sleeps up to 5/6 people and has 2 large en suite bedrooms with stunning exposed beams throughout. There is also a large open plan living area and a contemporary kitchen with all the appliances expected of high quality accommodation.

The cottage benefits from having a pretty patio area complete with BBQ and its own hot tub.

Complementary wine and chocolates will be waiting for you on arrival, giving you the perfect start to your holiday!

We offer frozen BBQ packs including pork steaks, Chinese style ribs, hot and spicy chicken wings as well as traditional sausages and burgers. Prices start at £25 per pack.
