Shave Farm in Donyatt Ilminster in Somerset, offers stunning B&B accommodation in an early 19th Century farmhouse in an idyllic countryside location. Situated near the beautiful village of Donyatt, we are in the ideal location to explore the local area.

Our charming B&B is perfect for a relaxing break away. The first is our family suite situated at the end of the farmhouse, it has it’s own front door leading into a private breakfast room/lounge with sofa bed & an en-suite bedroom upstairs with a king & single bed. Sleeping up to 4 people.

Our second room is the Cider barn, the perfect couples retreat. This too has it’s own private entrance & courtyard and again is on 2 storeys. Downstairs is a beautiful breakfast room & lounge, complete with kitchenette & wood burner. Upstairs it has a large en-suite bedroom with super king bed, walk in wardrobe & original beams throughout.

Our third room is situated within the farmhouse, the master suite. It again is on 2 storeys, but shares a front door with the owners. Downstairs is a very large breakfast room/lounge with wood burner. Upstairs is a large en-suite bedroom with a super king & single bed.

We serve a delicious breakfast every morning delivered to your private breakfast room and our working dairy farm has chickens that provide us with fresh free range eggs that guests can collect for their own breakfasts as well as pigs that are reared seasonally from eight weeks old, this is why our sausages taste so great.

Shave farm is situated just a stones throw from the Blackdown Hills. The Quantock’s, Exmoor, Dartmoor, the Mendip Hills and not forgetting the Somerset Levels are just an hour or so away. The Jurassic coast of Lyme Regis and Charmouth is just a 30 minute drive, whilst picturesque Beer and Seaton are only 45 minutes away.
