Thornhills Farm is a family friendly touring park on the edge of the Somerset Levels. For those who are looking for a place to stay that is peaceful, we are the ideal base. The site is easily reached and located outside of Othery, a little village near Taunton. Thornhills is perfect for exploring Somerset, the Levels, Glastonbury and Street. Access is easy from North and South and we are conveniently situated off the A361. The shopping outlet, Clarks Village in Street and only 8 miles away and you can be in the famous historic town of Glastonbury within 10 minutes.

Touring Park – Our farm has 12 pitches available, all of which are hard standing and have electric hook up. You will find plenty of mains water points, rubbish and recycling facilities plus a chemical emptying point.

Shepherds Rest – Our glamping hut is on its own secluded pitch on the park. It is fully insulated and has electric underfloor heating, making it a cosy place to stay all year round. The hut has a double bed, tea/coffee making facilities, small fridge and a welcome tray with tea, coffee and bread. Also as there are no cooking facilities in the hut a continental style breakfast can be provided each morning.

Othery is a great base for enjoying much of Somerset. You are very welcome to enjoy the peace and quiet of the place and maybe put your feet up and read the papers or laze around taking time out from a hectic lifestyle. For the more energetic there are some beautiful walks, cycle rides (MacMillan Way West, River Parrett Trail) and drives along with plenty of antique shops to potter around. There are also several National Trust properties just a short drive away. The Somerset wetlands are also home to many species of birds and the RSPB Nature reserve is just a mile up the road.
