Alpine Grove offers outstanding self-catering accommodation in Forton near Chard. Nestled in a glorious woodland setting in Somerset, we are the perfect place to escape from the pressures of modern life.

Our login cabins are perfect for a tranquil and relaxing holiday. On your doorstep you will find an abundance of wildlife, including rabbits, pheasants, buzzards, woodpeckers and deer. All the cabins have been designed to an exceptional standard, surrounded by trees to create a truly unique experience. Outside each cabin is a balcony with a table and chairs, a great place for al fresco dining whilst taking in the scenery. Nuthatch, Hedgehog, Woodpecker and Tawny Owl lodges also have a luxurious private hot tub to relax in. In total we have five cabins to choose from:

• Nuthatch Lodge - Sleeps 4 with the option of a 2nd king or 2 single beds in the 2nd bedroom and includes a private hot tub.

• Hedgehog Lodge – Sleeps 5 with a single and pair of bunks in the 2nd bedroom and includes a private hot tub.

• Woodpecker Lodge – Sleeps 4 with 2 singles in the 2nd bedroom and includes a private hot tub.

• Tawny Owl Lodge – Sleeps 5 with a double in the 2nd bedroom that has a single bunk above and includes a private hot tub.

• Roe Deer Cabin – Sleeps 5 with a single and pair of bunks in the 2nd bedroom.

Each cabin is beautifully furnished and comes with a range of facilities to suit all your needs. A solid wood burner will keep you warm in winter months and skylights in the dining area and/or main bedroom, perfect for stargazing. The cabins come with an open plan kitchen/dining/lounge area. In the lounge there is a TV/DVD player (Smart TV in Nuthatch Lodge) and plenty of seating. Each kitchen is well equipped and includes a hob & electric fan oven, fridge/freezer, microwave and all the crockery. BBQs are also available.

Each cabin has two bedrooms, the main bedroom has a double/king and the second has a combination of singles, bunks or a further double depending on the cabin. The cabins come with a good-sized bathroom with a walk-in shower (Nuthatch & Tawny Owl) or a bath with a shower over (Hedgehog, Woodpecker & Roe Deer).

Guests also have access to a range of great facilities at our touring park, including an outdoor heated swimming pool (available April to September) and an on-site shop selling local produce and holiday essentials.
