The rustic exterior of the hut conceals a luxurious, well-designed hideaway complete with a wood-burning stove, a full log basket, a table and benches, easy chairs and a carefully planned shower room and toilet. Unwind in the secluded, traditional wood-fired hot tub, perfect for stargazing and moonlit nights. When it’s time to sleep, a full-size double bed easily pulls down from the wall, ready-made for your comfort. Your bed will be made up with a cosy duvet and pillows and towels are provided in the shower room.

During your stay with us, you can explore a variety of fantastic attractions in the local area, including the Quantock Hills, the Blackdown Hills and Exmoor National Park. The nearby market town of Ilminster, just 4 miles away, boasts a range of delightful shops and cafes. Additionally, Barrington Court is nearby and you can visit Montacute House, renowned for its Elizabethan Renaissance architecture and beautiful garden.

Borrow a bike and spend the day cycling through quaint villages or along the picturesque River Parrett from Langport. Enjoy the stunning countryside and stop at a variety of fantastic pubs for a refreshing break along the way. For a truly memorable experience, take a short stroll to the village of Isle Abbotts and visit the miniature steam railway, available by appointment. The engines will take you from the platform for a short ride along a landscaped route through part of the village.
